Again, I’m eager to begin our lessons together.

It is my wish that our musical time together will be both fun and educational.

Learning an instrument and/or voice can provide a lifetime of enjoyment and offer opportunities to serve in many ways. While music may even become your vocation or avocation, it all begins and ends with practice! To borrow a phrase, “talent is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration!”

Lessons are tailored to match student requirements and goals for the school year; we will be using the following texts as the basis for our lessons:

A Modern Method for Guitar, Volumes 1, 2 & 3; William Leavitt, Berklee Press

Classical Studies for Pick-Style Guitar, Volume 1, William Leavitt, Berklee Press

Melodic Rhythms for Guitar, William Leavitt, Berklee Press

Berklee Basic Guitar – Phase 1: Guitar Technique, William Leavitt, Berklee Press (this text for beginning students)

Please wait until after our first lesson before buying your texts – if you cannot source these texts locally ) – they may be obtained here.

Class Fees

Lesson fees are $85.00 per hour or $50.00 per half hour. Fees are payable for 4 weeks in advance. Please arrive on time so that we can begin promptly and end with sufficient time to pack instruments and study materials. If you must be absent on your class day every effort will be made to provide a make-up lesson based on schedule and classroom availability. No refunds or make-lessons will be available if a student is a NO SHOW or cancels lesson within 24 hours of class. There will be no classes on any of the observed School, Federal or State Holidays.

I am sincerely looking forward to our lessons together.
